Stephen King, the Blacker, the Bleaker

This is the latest novel by Stephen King, and another is announced for, November.
This novel is a complete metaphor of the education system in our advanced countries that is pushed just slightly over the fence or down some cliff.
The motivation of the education system in our countries is entirely and uniquely political and ideological, literally manipulated, invaded and even colonialized by churches, when it is not sects, by ideological visions from communist to fascist, and they will all say they are neutral and are only teaching the truth.
But the worst part of it is that it uses all kinds of duress and punishment to impose a certain preconceived, prefabricated behavior in the kids. And the only way is to resist, to rebel, to stand up, speak up and shut up in due time when some redress has been achieved, obtained, conquered.
Unluckily, the battle is clear, but the victory is uncertain, and even highly improbable.
What kind of leash can we put on the education system for it not to become a deportation camp, a concentration camp, a gulag outside Washington DC, or Paris, or London, or Berlin, or Tel Aviv? Is there a leash to hold this terroristic education system down in its kennel and away from its instinctive inclination to bite the caravan that has to pass in front of this beast shelter that schools are?
Enjoy Stephen King, and Long Live the King.

I don’t even have to read it. Lemme guess:
Vulgarity on every page, the telepathic alcoholic main character is in rehab, a religious fanatic dies horribly, Castle Rock is in supernatural quarantine, President Trump sucks. There’s the whole book. 🤦‍♂️

King likes the Dr Sleep film, and it may well be excellent. I hope it is. But then again, he hated Kubrick's version of The Shining, one of the greatest movies ever made, and loved the utterly terrible mini series version.

K, here’s the difference. In the book, they’re actually there completely against there will. And in reality, 1, they’re not in cages, they have rooms with a bed, bathrooms, food and water, and, 2, the kids are there because they broke the law. And btw, at the jail houses on the border the kids are treated much differently than the adults. Stop defending criminals.

    • missourigreen051
      missourigreen051 2 ай бұрын +1

You say the kids broke the law, I notice you left the part out where their parents took them with them you make it sound like the kids knew they were breaking the law and went across the border all on their own. You don't look at them as kids you look at them as criminals and that if the Border people sell those kids to child sex trafficking you will look at it as karma aka your white God punishing them. You are a disgusting person who doesn't know right from wrong and you disguise your sick fantasies with religion like as if you think it makes it any less bad.

What are they supposed to do with the kids when they come illegally? Blame the parents.

    • ocandro
      ocandro 2 ай бұрын +1

@m_train Gaming I didn't get the notification for this. You know you could keep the kids with their parents without using more of the tax money (of course if you were to leave the conditions as inhumane as they are)? Or even cheaper - just let them go back. Your precious money is not an excuse for abusing children, because they are not really saving money, it's simply a hate crime. Do you beat up kids of thieves and drug dealers when you see them on the streets? Their parents are criminals too and unlike these immigrants, they don't have good intentions. There is zero logic to your arguments and it's because you are lying about your real thoughts on the subject.
It's interesting that right-wingers are never outraged when it turns out that corrupt politicians, corporations, religious institutions, NRA (...) are wasting your tax money. Whether you acknowledge it or not, the true reason you have a problem with people crossing border is not economy, it's your prejudice.

@ocandro yes, when parents break laws, they are separated from their children.. I for one do not want my taxes paying for an illegal alien. Do you?

    • ocandro
      ocandro 2 ай бұрын +3

@m_train Gaming one last try: when children are abused in US, hopefully the social services try to help them, instead of punishing them even more for what their parents did. If two junkies crashed the car with a kid in the back seat, would you lock the child too? Are moral principles different for kids south of your supposedly wonderful country, land of the free and all that? Nobody is impressed by your efforts, you edgelord, you seem slow and childish, when you can't comprehend the complexities of these situations.
